About the Bangkok map

khlongs, temples and the Chao Phraya's great bend

Bangkok's map is organised chaos around a majestic river: the Chao Phraya swings through in wide meanders, old Rattanakosin sits on its artificial island of canals, and the sois — thousands of dead-end lanes — fill every block with capillary detail.

The khlongs that earned it the name 'Venice of the East' still vein the west bank in Thonburi, while Sukhumvit's endless ladder of sois structures the modern east. Few maps hold this much life.

Neon Cyberpunk: the signature pick: electric magentas and cyans for the city that never dims.

Centre on the Grand Palace with a 7 km radius: the river's meanders dominate the frame with Rattanakosin's canal island at the heart. Bangkok's density rewards the biggest print size you can hang.
